A lone eagle flies with the spirit of the wind,
searching through the dimensions of time
for truth and wisdom,
to pass on to all those who will listen.
As the smoke of his ancestors reach out to him
he absorbs their visions,
carrying their thoughts on the breeze
as he soars higher as a truth-seeker of knowledge.
Observing the grief and trials of mankind,
the eagle glides to rest from the burdens
that are instilled deep within his soul,
before he resumes his learning
to teach those who are ready to hear.

very insightful! the only thing I would consider changing is the break in the first verse - it's a little awkward. But I did enjoy it as a whole.
