Over the fence into his eyes.
She licks her questions to wet them
So they can be dried by his
Untruthful fries.
Her pleading pupils meet his.
In a silent prayer she wishes for the truth
But not that naked one.
Alas, it’s the dressed up she wants.
His teeth part each other
As his lips form the ‘I’ letter
Though ‘don’t’ never fallows.
Instead his crimson lies slip
Through his lips into her hands
And march their way to her brain
Rendering her cells to believe
His lies.
That he loves her, too.
When he
Never did,
Doesn’t
& will not do.

Contest prompt:
(I'm feeling utterly confused with life these days. Kind of like this dialogue:
Buffy: Does it ever get easy?
Giles: You mean life?
Buffy: Yeah. Does it get easy?
Giles: What do you want me to say?
Buffy: Lie to me.
Giles: Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.
Buffy: Liar.)
Thanks for reading!

nstead his crimson lies slip

And march their way to her brain
Rendering her cells to believe
such a description of silver tongued manipulation and it happens so often its rather sad, a very touching poem and i think you have expressed yourself brilliantly

Rules for happiness;
Never feast on the past-
For young love rarely lasts-
Forget about the lies-
Look for more truthful eyes-
Realize it’s you who is the treasure-
Not simply a toy of pleasure-
So take a big gulp of life and relax-
For unexpectedly love shall come back-
And no it shall not be the same one-
For he’s proven his worth of none-
Thus I say be patient young Noor-
For of true love you’ll not be poor-
But allow it to find you-
A true love fresh and new-
For if you but enviously seek it out-
It’s only bound to make you pout-
Trust me when I say you’ll be fine-
As of love and respect you shall dine-

Wow. This has a really great kind of buildup to it and gets more and more powerful with each line, a constant gain of momentum.
Fabulous!
I loved the last two stanzas best.
One question: Is "drayed" a typo? I couldn't tell what you meant by that.

Thanks for the point out of the typo. I corrected it.

SIMPLY TOUCHING!!!!!
Oh how I can relate to this one!
You want to hear their love for you even if it may be only lies
but even as the hurt comes and causes such deep pain and even as the truth you need to hear you still hang onto that lie which says they love you.
's A feeling that has been in my heart in the past with a tremendous amont of pain and heartache. My prayers are with you sis, and also here is my
's to warm that cold and sorrow which is in your heart right now.
