Do we run to hide,
or find what we are missing
Are we looking to the future,
or sadly reminiscing
Our life is an adventure,
our dreams we hold so dear
Whether they are far away,
or around the block from here
Are we always on the right track,
in our quest for new domain
Does it have to be extreme,
or can it be mundane
As a human we seek inner peace,
does that mean to be alone
Can we be happy in our loneliness,
finding comfort on our own
Or do we stand up to our past,
tell it we won’t flee
This is exactly; who I am,
and who I want to be
Our troubles chase us far away,
make us want to hide
Are they things we can’t control,
will they not subside
When we find what we do seek,
is it really what we want
Are the lessons learned along the way,
worthy of our flaunt
Or do we seek the solace,
of a gentle voice inside
Telling us to face the past,
throw away our ill felt pride
Will it be too late for that,
are they far beyond repair
To waste your life and run away,
to a journey of despair
And in the end is what you found,
the same as why you went
Have your passions changed at all,
or have you found a new torment

This is amazing

I absolutely loved the movie Into The Wild, and I really think you captured Alex, at least what I saw from the movie.
Very good job, I think you're going to do great in the contest!
