The fire crackles in front of us
We’ve been sitting on that ratty shag rug of yours.
Glasses of red wine are set down the hearth
We’ve been talking for hours about anything and everything now.
You know every secret that I possess in my heart and I know yours
I see the reflection of the fire in the lenses of your glasses,
The light dancing amongst the sparkle of your green eyes
The eyes that captivated me so long ago,
The eyes that once seemed to hold so many secrets,
The eyes that are looking back at me with more love than I could ever begin to understand
I’m sitting here sharing a bottle of red wine with the first and only woman that I’ve known for what seems like an eternity and have probably loved for just as a long,
I just didn’t know I did,
Until now
The smell of her perfume intoxicates me,
Her smile,
Her laugh,
Makes my heart soar,
And fill with more happiness then I know what to do with,
Or even begin to comprehend.
The fire light reflecting off the lenses of her glasses,
Brings out the twinkle in her hazel eyes that I’ve never noticed before,
Making her look even more beautiful,
I didn’t think that was possible,
Until now
A stray hair falls into her face,
I reach up and brush it back into place
behind her ear,
Gently caressing her cheek,
She closes her eyes as if taking in every aspect of my touch
Suddenly I feel the soft warmth of his lips against mine and he deepens the kiss,
I part my lips allowing his tongue to enter and dance with mine
I moan softy,
And we part
I softly we whisper,
“Make love to me”
And I place his hand on my breast
And he kisses me deeply
I lift my hand and my figures
begin to dance amongst his thick, curly hair
that never seems to stay in place
I feel her fingers run through my hair,
I smile,
And I feel her smile in return
I cup her breast,
She groans softly with pleasure
I feel her hand move to the hem of my t-shirt
I part from her as she pulls it over my head
And I lean back in to kiss her,
She leans back to lie down on the old, moth eaten rug
I follow her,
My lips still attached to her’s,
My legs straddling her body,
His hands move to the hem of my green top,
And gently pull it over my head,
Revealing my cream tank-top.
He carefully undoes the tie on it
And I reach down to its hem and pull it over my head,
Revealing my white bra,
He leans in and kisses me softly,
I take in the warmth and gentleness of his lips
He moves to my neck,
I groan with pleasure
At the sensation of his warm lips on my neck
Her hand moves to belt buckle
And I quickly slip out of my jeans
He makes love to me
I feel her fingers dig into my bare back,
As I make love to her
