Could 2012 Be Earth's End?

It has been going around for a while, now: "the world is going to end
in 2012." TSaS is sure our members have heard this projected date
somewhere or from someone or on TV OR the Web; and, while determining
the year does not defy God's Word, there is data some of you might
not have heard that does disagree with God's predictions.

The year 2012 actually comes from the Mayan civilization's ancient
calendar, a very complex round calendar containing two more calendars
within the circle. Also, the Mayan's are known as having had the
greatest knowledge of astrology and astronomy of their era and even
of our time: they knew and understood the planets, stars, moons, sun,
the movements of same and how each relates to all life on planet
earth. Eclipses of both the sun and moon brought about some of their
most accurate prophecies; albeit, those events had nothing to do with
God's prophetic events. Rather, the events were random world events.

While the extensive Mayan records were destroyed by Christian
invaders, save about eleven (11) scrolls and their calendar, there
were enough available, when coupled with their many hieroglyphics at
the largest uncovered Mayan site in Chichen Itza, Mexico, to decipher
most of their beliefs and how their calendar worked. This calendar
ends at 21 December 2012, at which date they determined to be the end
of planet earth as we know it: the winter solstice rite observed by
all pagan religions. They do, however, speak to a regeneration,
despite their calendar having ended with the above date.

There are three valid reasons why the date cannot be relied upon as
being the DAY Christ returns in the clouds: 1) the information comes
from pagan beliefs, that in itself suspect, 2) Christ said only the
Father knows the DAY and HOUR of His return, and 3) the Jewish
Harvest Festivals represent birth, death, and resurrection/ascension,
in that order; therefore the final festival is traditionally held,
following the last October harvest, on or about the 10th of November.

Thus, if we look for the month of Christ's return, it could be
sometime in early November, but we cannot name the day and certainly
not the hour. As for the year of His return, it might well be 2012 or
it could be 2009 or 2010, or even tomorrow. After all, we are in the
month of November. Nevertheless, it is sooner than most Christians
would like to admit and, certainly, will be a far different
progression of events than most of them have been taught by man.

There are, however, two more reasons to take God's Word instead of
this 2012 Mayan astrological/religious prediction: 1) Jesus stated
that this last church age of Laodicea would be cut short for the sake
of His elect, an age where He also said, "I come quickly." Until
Laodicea, only the previous two church ages revealed Christ making
reference to His return: each of those being "I come soon." Of the
first six eras, Sardis was the shortest , it having lasted a total of
46 years. This tells us that Laodicea will be even shorter and, at
present, we are 17 years into it and about to enter its 18th year.

The year 2012 would make Laodicea 21 years of the age and, clearly,
we can see that the wicked are "waxing worse and worse" as well as
catastrophic natural and war events also have worsened dramatically.
Earth's environment is such that many are now saying they wish Jesus
would come quickly. Jesus will not allow us to suffer much longer.

The second reason against the Mayan date is the fact God acknowledged
that the sun and moon and stars play an integral part in earth's and
our lives, BUT He also instructed that we "are not to delve into it."
The Mayan religious leaders delved deeply into astrology and
astronomy, the main one being Quatzequatl.

Perhaps, by having defied God's instruction, the Mayans were able to
accurately build their calendar but did not have the ability to
accurately interpret its meaning. For instance and contrary to the
Bible, ancient Mayans determined earth to have six ages, each one
being over 5000 years; whereas God reckoned earth to have six ages of
1000 years each and a seventh 1000 years to be earth's Sabbath rest:
wherein earth will lie fallow, unable to support life. Therefore, it
might be that, in not knowing God's definition of an era, it is
possible they were looking at the ages of the entire universe as
opposed to a solitary planet.

Nevertheless, back to Quatzequatl, who was a man most unlike his dark
Mayas, who described him as a tall fair skinned man with long flowing
white hair and a full white beard and who brought a teaching of
peace. It was he they looked upon as a god; it was he who told them
he would return hundreds of years later, a time on their complex
calendar that resulted in their near extinction by Spanish conquerors
who looked much like him and whom they were prepared to embrace. The
few Mayan records do not reveal where this man came from or if he were
born among their own people.

TSaS is reminded of God saying that Satan slays his own, making
Quatzequatl a false prophet. We also are reminded of today's false
prophets, who teach lies in God's name and promise a being who will
bring peace in our time, that we will not leave this earth; yet,
God's Word states clearly that there never will be peace on this old
earth, only in the new.

The signs, of which Jesus spoke of regarding His return, are many:
all of them in place since 1991; and, according to prophecy, each
have greatly escalated in intensity every year since 1991: to the
point that in the last few years TSaS consistently has warned of the
time being at hand. Today, we advise our members to watch the clouds,
for it literally could be any day, any hour that we might see Jesus
and His angels moving across our skies to take us up to meet Him in
the air. (ref: "Bind Up the Testimony, Seal the Law" — Spiritual
interpretation of The Revelation, available at Amazon.com)

TSaS reasons that to embrace the year 2012, regardless and in absence
of the day and hour, is the fact it has the potential to render each
of us unprepared for the true year, month, day and hour: which,
obviously, could be sooner or later than 2012. God's point in not
giving us an exact day and time is so we will be as prepared as the
virgins with oil for their lamps. We must be wholly purified prior to
His arrival or be left behind quite dead.

Just know that all the signs of Christ's return are not only in place
but full blown: six of Revelation's seven angels' vials are empty,
the last drops poured out. There is no doubt in our minds that He is
about to appear in the eastern clouds and will be moving across our
skies toward the west taking up His own. REPENT, OBEY thus BE
PREPARED.

Boils down to one truth!! Which I'm so grateful after I read this you believe. WE DO NOT KNOW THE HOUR OR DAY THAT THE LORD WILL ARRIVE!!

I'm so glad that is what makes God our God. He gives us a peace which passeth all understanding and must rely on him. So we should all be living out days as though they are the last... AMEN

    Love You Sis Bon,
    Blessings Always

Indeed, my precious one, we cannot know the day or the hour; BUT! with all the Biblical clues coupled with all the signs pointing to Christ's return, we can come close. Still, the message is to be prepared with plenty of oil for our lamps, in the event our Groom is delayed. As you say, live each day as though it is the last! Thank you so much for your thoughts and wise words about 2012.
      Much luv & hugs, SisBon
