Soaring To Great Heights

You promised me a rainbow
that would glisten
above grey clouds
seeking to destroy
tendrils of belonging
beneath a whisper
of timeless grandeur.

We'll fly to that kaleidescope
of colour,
where mountains are born.

Where mountains are born, this left me with such a beautiful thought. One of my favourite lines of yours (would make a great contest) The whole piece is outstanding and as I wade through all I have missed I wonder why I bother when the talent of you shines above all! Best to you in the contest
