Unbelievable Fait.

Abigail Sheik was nearly ten years old
When the good Lord took her away
She left lacking words, dim and cold
And she gazed at Jesus that day

“My father, I loathe to intrude
You from your busy schedule today
Pardon me If I appear rude
Yet I have so much I must say.”

His holiness himself prevailed high
On the very tip of his toes
The little girl held out the palm of her hand
Whilst his right eyebrow purely rose

The little girl obtained a seat
Folding her arms, glazing down
Indian style before his feet
As her eyes explored all around

“The majority of these souls I see
Are aged, brittle, and weak
Yet here I endure, little ole’ me”
She stood, a tear rolling off her cheek

“I know I shouldn’t cry, my Father,
Yet why should I be here
Don’t get me wrong, you’re not a bother
I just shouldn’t… It’s just not clear?

That man, was irate, I’m sure
I could sense it through his eyes
Apparent, he desired to feel secure
Yet was that an excuse for me to die?

All I ask God, is for one reason
To make me feel as if I belong
After a man committed such a treason
Shouldn’t he have died, all along?”

With two sturdy hands, he lifted her
And rested her upon his knee
Rarely did this ever occur
At least, never to this degree

“My child, I heard you’re flair
A voice far too endowed to afford
I heard you each night, you said a prayer
It never once was left ignored

You asked to be prominent, well-known
To sing with angels in a choir
So now you prevail upon my throne
With your wish, you have acquired

They’ve needed a lead singer
And I assured them, you’d take that place
So come on now, do not linger
Go on, and obtain your space”

Abigail Sheik, paused with teary eyes
And glared at him once more
As her spirits and affection began to rise
She journeyed to the door

“Hey father, one further thing
My friend, Janet, sings just as well
What magnificence her voice would bring
She unquestionably would excel…

She’s beautiful and refined
She’d really do the part
Frankly I just thought I’d remind
That I loved her with all of my heart.”

Before the child could leave
God coughed, and brought her back
Joyful at the gawk he received
His words flew right on track

“I agree, Janet is such a strong young girl
And sings just as beautifully as you do
She is now a part of this eternal world
She also joined the choir right before you!”

This was such a touching poem but it had a light air to it. I'm very happy that the girl got her friend in the end
