“Get home soon!” cried Rain as he fell all around me
“But I don’t want to go home.” I complain back.
“But you’ll catch cold.” Rain fretted.
“You sound like my mother.” I snapped trying not to shiver form Rain’s brother Wind.
“Why are you out here at all? Everyone else is inside.” Rain questioned making music as he pitter pattered on the sidewalk.
“I like the privacy. Beside your music is beautiful.”
“I know. I’m lovely aren’t I? I give a drink to the crops and rocks and oh everything!” Rain cried arrogantly scoffing at me in my worn sandals.
“You don’t have to be mean about it. All I did was give you a compliment. Whatever happened to the nice caring rain just a minute ago?” I demanded indigently.
Ran began to get colder with each word I murmured. Wind began to howl more loudly. Now Rain started to hurt me as he fell now clapping on the sidewalk.
“I’m Rain! Fear me and my loud music!” Rain bellowed as Thunder joined in the throng with loud drums.
I no longer liked the privacy of Rain. Now I had Thunder and Wind to contend with.
“I’m leaving!” I threatened. “You won’t have anyone who appreciates your music anymore.”
“Fine go inside. I’m going to some place where I’m liked for my loud drums.” With that Rain slid off across the sky to pester someone else.
The grey clouds that formed Rain’s audience fallowed him. Rainbow appeared smiling down at me. “Sorry about him.” She said sweetly. “He was rather spoiled as a kid.”
I nodded and left Rainbow to her duties.

This made me smile, and I really needed that, thank you.
Wonderful, what a joy to read.

I adore this fanciful little conversation between this person and the rain and the rainbows. It's very cute and as if talking to a real person rather than a natural element. Very sweet!
