Death

it's an obstacle
You can't avoid
It's beautiful
yet contaminating
It's hurtful to friends
Like a longing whisper
That steals you away
Yet your spirit stands,
In the midst of disappearing,
A ghost left of you -
Diaries, old books, movies -
To remind others that you stood here
And walked there,
And slept in that bed.
It may be hard passing,
But your love lives on,
As a remainder
For all eternity.

    good job

Reading this I felt that you must live life each day to its fullest because we never know when the end will come. I don't dwell on the fact of death. I just live my life the best I can and when the time comes for me to die I'll accept it without question; even though I'd be leaving my loved ones behind. I'm happy to be living in the time I'm in now and that's what matters most to me. What happens tomorrow, happens tomorrow. I can't predict it, I can't control it, I can't stop it. Nobody can.
This poem I find is loaded with great wisdom and truth. You speak your heart well; thanks for sharing.
