For he slipped upon the snow as a result of Donner's kick,
Then Santa got his trousers stuck in the branches of a Fir tree,
Leaving Prancer and Vixen in hysterics and the fruitcake bouncing free.
Author notes
Words used- Fruitcake, Prancer, Vixen, Donner, St. Nick, Fir.
Type used- Clerihew.
Situation- Donner kicked Santa, then who fell off the roof and got his pants stuck in a Fir tree, making all the reindeer laugh hysterically. And when he fell he dropped the fruitcake that he was carrying instead of coal. As most of us think fruitcake is simply awful, therefore it is a punishment worse than coal.

this is a great clerihew - I really like the humour and the story it tells (I'm one of those people that don't particularly like fruitcake!) very nicely written poem
Merry Christmas!

It's cute...like some three stooges scene where chaos happens! I think I like the part about Donner kicking Santa, that and the part about the fruitcake bouncing around...I hope that things bounces past my house!

You made a good clerihew of four lines with excellent rhyme: aabb. To find the correct words you used the wordbank. This is all well done.
Good luck in the Contest.
Anna.
