Darkhold

I can’t evade what I’ve made-
my own darkness seems to raid.
Knowing You ‘till I’m blue,
yet the true seems to fade.

What I want-what I do.
One’s of flesh and one’s of You.
Claim the Name-take the aim.
Then I’m left in the blue.

Seeks to hold me
and keep me from the One who holds my breath.
I am locked in
and brings about in me a spiritual death.

It's still remains-like my skin.
Takes away the light I’ve gained.
But I wait-to end this fate
  called by a higher Name.

Seeks to hold me
and keep me from the One who holds my breath.
I am locked in
and brings about in me a spiritual death.
It still follows
It seeks my soul as its plunder.
If not for You,
I am sure that I’d go under.

an interesting poem.In a way i thought ot portrayed inner darkness nicely. Though when we think of darkness we all think of different things. Good luck in the contest.
