Sweet dreams and fairy tales
wishes that come true
summer nights and northern lights
make me think of you
Apple blossoms swirling down
in a gentle breeze
Little Princess, I love you
so much more than these
Life can be so hard sometimes
Pain and bitter trials
They are all forgotten when
My little Princess smiles
You mean more than life to me
A rare and priceless pearl
And you will forever stay
Your Daddy's little girl
Sunday picnics at the park
Meadows in the spring
Humming birds and rhyming words
Children when they sing
Sunrise o'er a mountain top
Sunset on the seas
Little Princess, I love you
So much more than these

~GOOD LUCK~ -
^.^
It was beautiful, my friend.
I never thought to ask in some of our more long in depth conversations if you had any kids, so I guess I just figured you didn't. Shows where assuming gets us doesn't it?
Anyway, I love the rhyming pattern, and the flow as well
Oh, and this one totally diserves a gold trophy

Very Nice
I have four daughters and they all make me feel this way. I am as proud of them as you obviously are of yours! Now I have six granddaughters and they are a handful...of love! Great poem! The Shaker

Awwww this pulls at the heartstrings. I hope she has or gets a copy of it. It's one of those things that needs to be framed and on her bedroom wall or in a frame on her dresser. Someday when she's going through albums and stuff .... it will make her cry. It's a gem.
