We can pass each other
and not reply,
or we can refuse to answer
when another says hi.
We can look at others with distaste
not understanding their fate,
or we could give them a hug
for a brighter day.
The chain of life-you see
needs interconnecting links ,
and unless we join them together
this world will continue to sink.
For love is something that has to be felt
and given freely indeed ,
Love is connecting that link
for this chain to be complete.
The children brought into this world
so pure of sin,
are taught the ways we have chosen
to live our life and then.
The circle completes
but is it one of love,
what chain are you connected to
hell or heaven above.
Look about you today
and see this chain before you,
has it caused you pain
or brought you such wonderful muse.
It's your choice you know
yet why would you choose pain,
when you could choose love
and so much more you would gain.
Love or misery comes by choice,
