Dippety Snippety Dup,
you got a new cup,
where did you get it Lil one?
did you get it from mum?
mum's in the kitchen,
making apple pie.
come on Lil one, don't tell a lie.
did daddy got you one?
daddy is on the way to work,
look his hair is all nice and done.
Rickety Pickety mouse,
is that your house?
it is so small,
and lies in the wall,
did kitty catch the mouse?
look Lil one,
there is a kitty in your house.
kitty loves the baby,
and the woollen roll,
look Lil one,
you have got a new doll.
Dippety Snippety Dup,
Oh! you lost the cup.
now the baby's all sad.
as the kitty ate the mouse.
O Lil one, don't feel so bad,
there is another cup in the house.

Of course that comming fom me is alot considerign I am into the grimm nursery rymes.

I think it's funny, too. Not sure if little ones would understand the "kitty ate the mouse" as anything other than a rhyme -- so many children's rhymes have this sort of realism in them. Very interesting.
