Like a feather drifting tenderly along,
carried by a gentle easterly breeze,
so have we come to this love of ours.
Our lips meet between a smile and a wish,
and we can't help but laugh with joy,
at the sheer madness of our insanity.
Friends who'd given us both up for lost,
are now crazy with jealousy and laughter,
for how happy we've become.
My queen you've grown to be,
driving away the darkness with the warmth,
flowing from your heart each day,
bringing the glory of colors with a single touch.
You know that what's mine is yours,
and if I don't have it, we can go shopping.
Any gifts you may need, scribble them down,
but on my favorite coffee cup, so I won't miss them.
What I thought were roadblocks in my life,
were merely the stile that lead me over your fence.
When we walked the tender old wood last night,
I came to realize that your love, your beauty,
everything that makes you you, in smiles or tears,
has become everything that makes me, well, me.
So when I ponder on how I live my life,
and the important thing I want to do before my death,
It becomes clear that it's you, my simple cherub.
Over dinner, at sunrise, in the middle of the night,
I want only to honor and adore you, forever.
So if I forget to bring pearls sometime,
don't think it's a dead end, that I've lost the love,
please promise you won't think of goodbye.
Because it'll only mean I have diamonds in my pocket.
Author notes
In case you didn't catch on, I chose the word banks option. All of them. Hope this is what you were looking for.
Oh, and I think I also used all the words from the word prompts, as well.

I got to agree to JinSays on her comment, this is a lovely poem and you pulled it off good, even with using so many words from my wordsbanks.
Gives it a interesting feel to it all, and thats always good.
Well done and best of luck

What else can I say?
if I dont have it. . . .
right, can we women send you all our men, so you can teach them this?
Ahh, sweet as can be. There's tenderness here, just like in that other write I liked so much.
Tenderness is sorely lacking in my life these days, maybe that's why it's so recognizable in written word.
I wish you all the best in this contest.
Love,
