Thoughts lately

Alone is what I want to be,
Sunshine,Moonlight are always with me,
While crying, tears run beside me,
I long to run into those arms,
Which will define my life for me.

Contentment is never assured,
In whatever we do,
Why then should we hassle about it?
All that is new.

Searching for a piece of me,
Searching for that clue,
I lurk in my own shadows,
Contemplating my own views.

I consider what life is,
And cannot reconcile of the moments formed,
Life in the end is just a life,
Only dust or ashes are formed.

...I lurk in my own shadows.....

    very cool line.....
this has a lonesome sad tone.
A perspective that can and will change.
Beautifully written as it had me pondering existence
and really how random circumstances are...which ever way they go...good or bad...
we are really just hurdling with no control through space...it's a crap shoot....
all we can do is pray to God things go our way.

    Fantastic,
    Lowell

Well thought out and well written but, Oh, so sad. Life is a journey through the unknown, enjoy the journey and its trials and tribulations, along with the joy. I can relate to the feelings expressed here but have a different outlook on life now.

Life is what we make it, good or bad. You've penned a poem to ponder over for sure, feelings of sadness that beg for answers.

    Oh Yeah

we all have the right to be confused and full of questions but what makes the diference is what some theologians call ABSOLUTE TRUTHS. I other words the roots of what we believe that has shaped our identities. Therefore, when the shit(pardon my language) hits the fan, those are what we have left when we have finished questing and questioning. Merci.

    I can relate..

and i'm certain many can and do to the thoughts you laid down..a very solemn write my friend, and isn't it funny when we do introspection how we always can ask many questions of ourselves but the answers, if any are found are few? just a thought add-on. well done lady.
