When the night darkens, when the lights fall bright
I will wait here for you until the dawn is light.
At the foot of the holy tower sing
Never knowing what the light will bring.
Hold fast to the memories.
Hold fast to the brightness,
and smile as the sun looks your way
lighten and brighten your face,
smile for me,
will you smile?

this is one i wrote a few years ago and i found it this morning.its not what i normaly write and id like any help to make it better because it doesnt have the right feel yet especially the last two of three lines XD thanks
