His wings blazen in the morning light as burnished bronze
Hair gently caressed by the early morning breeze
Rustling of leaves as they waft around the little courtyard.
The Heavenly Host waits with bated breath
Humanity is on a pivot of time.
Slowly she turns and humbly bows her head in recognition of His Angelic pressence.
The maid blushes
Beside Her the white roses mirroring her embarressment turn to pink
His Annunciation sweet honey to her soul
"I am the Lords Handmaid", Her reply hardly audilble, "May everything be as you said"
There is joy in heaven.
In the corner of the yard Dandelions know of the pain yet to be and bow
their heads in silent reflection.
She is most highly favoured
She is Theotokos.
The world will never again be the same.

Theotokos - doesn't it mean "God bearer. I think the Eastern Orthodox church refers to Mary in this way, which is beautiful.
Your poem about the Annunciation is poignant and beautiful also.
