delicately entangled

Through twisted turns,
you observed
my intricacies~

detailing
each curve of my face
and lip’s bow…

turning
every cry of confusion
to silence, in your arms…

forming
moments of your time
into opening mine with smiles,
designed for you.

And as I come to the end of my wire,
you trace your love so beautifully
upon my heart~

lifting past's cloud
to reveal its silver lining...

entwined with golden tomorrows.

    Inspired!

I know you are probably getting tired of hearing the word beautiful from me, so I'll try a few synonyms...Stunning! Elegent! Striking! I love the way that you use the process of filigreeing to describe what this person's love feels like, how it makes you into a beautiful work or art. Just like this poem is a beautiful work of art. Definately deserves the Gold.

Such a joy to read a poem that leaves one breathless. Tenderly written to the prompt, yet such finality in meaning casts a shadow .

    My favorite stanza:

    turning
    every cry of confusion
    to silence, in your arms…

How utterly enchanting, fulfilling and warm. A place I would love to be right now.

This piece is pure poetry written beautifully and fully to this prompt with ease and gentle understanding. Amazing work and a superb entry to this contest. Thank you.

    Excellent. ~Pamela

You really have a way with words. . .I was going to try to pick my favorite part, but so many pieces of the poem tie for it. . .including the title.

Oh to love and to be loved! I particularly like the delicateness of it all.

Ok so I do have a favorite part of the favorite parts: "turning
    every cry of confusion
to silence, in your arms…" This part is so comforting.

well and I have to put this one too to be fair: "forming
    moments of your time
    into opening mine with smiles,
    designed for you.

And this part is just "Wow" . . .
