The walls within the walls

These walls within the walls
there trying to keep me in
trying to keep me from seeing out
keeping me from hearing my calling
the calling for the race
the big human race
a race I can’t win
when the walls are wining
There’s a kid within a man
that man is within me
he is afraid to knock down the walls
afraid of what lies
  within the truth.

I like this and agree completely with Meagan. You did an excellent job with this. Keep up the great work and best of luck to you in all that you do and write.

  • I like it.

Short, Simple, and to the point. Everyone has felt confined in some way, by parents, peers, or society as a whole. Good work!

some are good, some are bad,
not every truth need to be told,
    yet, they are,
