Sir Isaac Newton said,
"To every action there is,
an equal and opposite reaction."
I kissed a girl in a park,
She pushed me back so hard,
three thirty years later,
I learned that he was right.
Author notes
Sir Isaac Newton(Born: 4 Jan 1643 in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England
Died: 31 March 1727 in London, England) was the greatest English mathematician of his generation. He laid the foundation for differential and integral calculus. His work on optics and gravitation make him one of the greatest scientists the world has known.
the image of Newton is from en wikipedia. William Blake's ''Newton'' (1795), colour print with pen & ink and watercolour. Blake's picture of Newton as a divine geometer was one of a series he created whilst living in Lambeth in the late [)

Hey its a very nice quote, me, being a scientest,never knew that this wonderful quote was by Great Albert Einstien.thanks for you nice sharing of the thought.Here is one for you;
"To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you're getting this down."(Woody Allen)

Hmmmm...and your reaction to that of hers was?...hahahaha...Interesting twist to Newtonian thought. I like it Ahkam...Nice to see you writing again, and with such a pointy pen. Peace, Rhonda

I htink people never learn that no one is right
only the fallen or bitten apples
all this system of laws invented only to remind us
that we can only be wrong
still we're only feeling guilty for doing it
and that makes it all false
like any action built up on justification
turns away from its purpose of self expression to an impersonal lifeless generality
it's how we surrender to gravitation and gravity

i don get it ????

Newton'sThird law
Prison-Break-Fa its that my action was to get closer and her reaction was to push me away, so I realized that Newton was right -

this kinda made me laugh at the end. it is an amazing piece. short but tells a entire story in these few words.

the title gave away the poem in almost it's entirety, although the idea behind this one was good- almost bukowski esque, simplistic & intresting.
