You Taught Me How To Love

You came, when life was dark
brought light
and love with you:

Like a jug full of wholesome goodness you
poured that love
over me,

Drenching me,
in the understanding
that I can love like you, now I do.

Optimism resounds in me,
thanks to you and your heart,
that I see clearly.

You came with arms open wide
and allowed me to step inside your
embrace ...

I draw no curtains,
I'm myself with you ...
all the time.

Very beautiful!! I know what it's like to have someone bring light into your endless darkness and show you that love is possible. A wonderful tribute to that magical person!!!! Very well written!!!!
