Liberty

Give me liberty,
Or minature American flags;
Preferably the latter,
For it symbolizes the freedom I could have!

Oh, how great liberty is,
Yet I must decline,

For a novelty item-that-is-devoid-of-any-intrinsic-value-but-quells-the-masses-and-in-a-strange-sort-of-way-might-even-be-unpatriotic-in-the-most-technical-of-senses-like-wearing-the-american-flag-on-your-body-or-also-paying-your-taxes-because-I-shouldn't-have-to-even-though-it-is-clear-that-without-taxes-most-of-our-social-services-like-roads-would-immediately-fall-into-disrepair-but-that's-alright-since-Texas-doesn't-repair-their-roads-anyway-and-also-legally-permits-me-to-compress-an-entire-paragraph-into-a-single-hyphenated-phrase-not-unlike-a-poorly-constructed-run-on-sentence-so-technically-it-is-really-only-one-word-and-besides-that-I-cannot-stand-the-thought-of-transmitting-octects-that-are-by-standardization-numerically-equivalent-to-thirty-two-since-violates-every-single-doctrine-of-my-religion-which-I-would-have-had-the-freedom-to-openly-practice-if-I-had-not-given-up-my-liberty-for-a-miniature-american-flag

shall be mine!
