This really isn't a poem of any worth. But do you think this guy is justified? He told me today that my whole family is going to hell because my brother "killed kids in Iraq"
He never did anything of the sort. He didn't kill any single person.
And every single person he met was glad he was there.
Now I don't like the war, but our soldiers and their faimiles are not going to hell for this.
Please tell me what you think

Comming from a time where my own brother was called a "baby killer" when he came home from a very unpopular war ( not that any war should be called that ) if you were in WWII or WWI you didn't hear this sort of thing. I know how you felt whin this person said these things to you. All I can say is "rise above the small minded and know the truth, don't let what he said rule your thoughts. He's not worth the waist of time."

Yea that's what they called most of the vets coming back from Viet Nam, It was part of the reason I joined the service after I got out of HS. I kinda carried a chip on my shoulders for a while about it.

That guy doesn't make sense!
He's pissed cause he believes a pack of lies. Your right, your brother is not going to hell for answering the call of duty to defend our Country from terrorists who invaded our borders and killed innocent people. The people that support these terrorists and their activities will be the ones to unfortunately go to hell. Nobody wants to go to war but like the ol' saying goes, freedom isn't free. I honor our soldiers over in Iraq. They didn't make the war, they didn't turn away from what had to be done. If you notice that since 9/11 there hasn't been anymore major terrorist attacks on America. I thank God for our soldiers over there.
