Slipping

That girl you see
She might not look like
she has feelings
But deep down inside
she does, but you may not
see it 'cause she keeps it in
And has a smile for the
feelings people cannot see
When she looks sad and
people ask if she's ok
when people say that,
it makes her eyes water with tears
Tears, she doesn't like to show
Those tears she kept in for a long time
And that is why you now see this girl
Because she thinks no one cares
loves, or likes her
So keep on walking by
And she will forever slip into the corner
To be forgotten until tomorrow
If you would like to know,
her name is christine

Beautiful poem, really. It reminds me of my own use of this version of poetry. I felt touched reading it, and I wish you the best luck in both contests.
