I am drenched in sordid manure
yes, I was enticed by that lite lure
exasperation paved the road for me
while I readily complied, sans dignity
Unfortunately, denial will not cover me this time
as I am loaded down with mire vs. rhyme
Delicately, Lord, can you see your way clear
to rescue this lonely fool from this fierce pier?
I'll be twice more cautious, more alert
before I take another tumble deep in dirt.
