"The ultimate escape," she thought to herself, and sighed.
He was resisting treatment for a malignant tumor; an earlier loss blocking the entrance to that avenue. And yet, the boredom of his current life's chaos loomed largely before his eventual demise. But, so much effort involved to drag one's body, wounded now, yet again to the battle front, sword-wielding, dragon-slaying warrior that he still was.
It was true that she loved him as she had no other. He spoke the language of her soul's thoughts; the breaths within the core of her that kept her spirit fed in the dark nights, having gone together places that neither had ever been, wanting more: time to enjoy each other, to grow old together, to watch the world beneath them walking the sidewalks as they sat on the balcony together in the lifestream of their reality, pulsing anxiously at the thought of losing it all.
Then...LIVE dammit!!!

A lot of thought went into this one.. Yes beat the signs of boredom and lifes angst, worries and woes. Take the dreams of the past and the future together, pleasing thoughts to share and make all days wonderful and,,, just LIVE damnit,,,,,, just brilliant. Thank you and well done.
