Memoirs Of A Dolittle

Chewed tongue
resembles landfill
you call life,
nestled in mommy's
bosom as world spins
on bony finger,
waking only to
hide under pill bottle cap;

residue hides
in parched lips,
tasting shame as
pillow grows cold
as pharmacy counter,
waiting for monthly return
of government pill jockey-

Bloated horse
walks through
finish line,
fading into oblivion
as mommy wipes brow
for another day of
debilitation-

I would play with the lines a bit for a smoother reading -

but the imagery is very well done. Thanks for entering

    pisses me off too.
I know someone exactly like this.
Ended up involving a lawyer and a court date to get rid of him.
Man, where do these people comefrom?
Okay, I wish you the best with her.
I hope she wakes up and sees what she's doing.
    Probably not though, eh?
    Anyway,
I love your poem, and I see it a FRESH write
Thank you for that, and I hope you feel better too.
