You have to allow the glass to crack in order to breathe

Ballistics break yonder domed city

not dooming but placing at leisure.

Though initial cracks show like death

quickening what is in the chest;

truth is granted citizenry.

Outside air must be mingled with

the mundane which is known so well;

even at risk of invasions

by unknown factors frightening.

    now here we have where the marker gets put up a peg or two. What an amazing write. Very apt towards the prompt pic too and taking us from the boredom like state of domed existance to one of unknown certainty. Breath deep the dawning of new days and let us spill forth to pastures untraveled by man and minds. Splendid write and a worthy entry.

    You are beginning to have sort of Panic!-esque titles lol. I like that! So well articulated you are sir... How ever shall one truly critique THAT!? Nicely penned!
