Bless All Children This Night

Bless all children this night;

Father, keep them in sight

of love from your face

through the beauty of grace.

When they err in your will,

Father, be with them still.

.

Bring us Christ Mass, dear Lord,

and truth of your Word.

Lord, help us to know

the Babe's pathway to show.

When we turn from that road

Lead us to His abode.

.

Father, lead us to pray

for Christmas this day

and keep us sincere

to peace we hold dear.

Then your love which will shine

Oh God will be mine.

.

Then your love which will shine

Oh God will be mine!

.

.

[This prayer may be sung to an old tune, "Brahm's Lullaby". ]

    I like this

When it comes to prayer, we are all children, asking for what our father is happy to give. This one touches our humanity and our hope, "as a little child". Very good, good luck!
