Last night i dreamt of you
i was in your arms in your forever embrace
you whispered in my ear
and you promised to stay.
You kissed me with your tender lips
and i felt warm and safe
you told me that u would always love me
and i knew right then and there that u were mine for eternity.
I woke up hugging my pillow
still with that warm, safe feeling
and i can still feel the touch of your lips
and your embrace.
I realized that i could never actully have you
to hold me
to whisper in my ear
to kiss me tenderly.
I was just left with the dream of my heart
and the 'never-going-to-happen' feeling.
I lay back down, hugging my pillow
wishing it was you.
