There once was a girl who was ever so pretty,
she was smart, wise n eva so witty.
This girl had shiny black hair,
for others opinion she did not care.
The girl was kind and caring to all,
she never abused or made them feel small.
This girl had eyes which in the sun were brown,
she always looked up and never looked down.
This girl grew and had kids of her own,
she stayed happily n her friends she would phone
This girl was amazing all through her life,
In being a mother, daughter, friend and wife.

Aaawww! This was beautiful!! It was such a nice tribute to your friend. I am thankful for so many people in my life it is hard to thank them all. I can see you have done a very nice job with that here. I am sure she would love to read this. Has she read it yet?
Something I really liked about this poem was how you showed her growing up and what traits she still had as an adult. It left me feeling happy and nice.
I think the ending was really nice, it wasn't abrupt and it flowed in smoothly. You also used very good rhyme.
