The Lord created a tapestry
we each, are a single thread
He wove it precisely
our life, plotted in His head
He knew there would be problems
some of us wouldn't figure it out
and some would be too stubborn
this He had no doubt
The colors, they were beautiful
each had a purpose in mind
if each fulfilled their duty
the world would be peaceful and kind
But He knew this would not happen
and the tapestry would be unraveled
as so many would go off track
and take the road less traveled
Satan and sin has ruined the tapestry
it's beauty has now been frayed
but the Lord has guaranteed a higher beauty
for those on His tapestry road who stayed
Each blue and red and yellow
orange, purple and green
will have a place in heaven
who serve only God and nothing in between
