Everything that was good or bad....
Blue, grey and black sky eventually turned to white
And everything that was good or bad soon became just alright.
How can meaning just melt into noise and words
And lose all sense of direction?
We are thrown out here with no map or general instructions.
It’s make your own way each and every day.
And if you don’t make it pay someone else will soon take your place.
Blue, grey and black sky eventually turned to white
And everything that was good or bad soon became just alright.
How can meaning just melt into noise and words
And lose all sense of direction?
We decided to sail back to the place in our hearts
Where all was silence and sinless harmony.
I was trapped again in my eternal quest for truth and meaning.
Walking wearily through some equatorial swamplands
On the sad side of my mind.
Greatness cannot be imagined
Bought or sold or borrowed for a brief and fleeting moment.
It’s in your blood and runs through your veins
Causing your hands and heart to take control
And go beyond the base and bitter ways of the average man.
Blue, grey and black sky eventually turned to white
And everything that was good or bad soon became just alright.
How can meaning just melt into noise and words
And lose all sense of direction?
