a boomerang moon
slices across northern dusk,
a slivered spotlight
as early snow falls,
crystalline on the rosebushes--
one more life
frozen by winter.

wow desolation and beauty all pressed under the fingernail of a moon,
roses glazed in still life, ice aged remnants of a summer past, lovely write indeed~~~Artis

I would work on the backround on this and find something to enhance your words better. What you have said is really good and this backround takes away from that I think. You were easy to follow and understand and I like what you had to say and how you said it.Good luck in the contest.
