Nevaeh's Game

Nevaeh has a game to play
So listen to her well
And we can play it everyday
As far as I can tell
Now clap your hands and turn around
Jump up real high and hit the ground
Now clap your hands
Now clap your hands
And try to make a whistle sound

Nevaeh has a game to play
I promise we’ll have fun
Just watch Nevaeh go this way
Get off the ground and run
Now stop right there and clap your hands
Just follow all of her commands
Now stop right there
Now stop right there
She’s taking you to magic lands

Nevaeh has a game to play
She’s still the leader here
So flap your arms and fly away
I hope that I am clear
Now be a bird that’s in the air
And you can fly most everywhere
Now be a bird
Now be a bird
Now you can lead us so it’s fair

wow, was out of my chair, perched on a windowsill trying to fly,

some far off place in Florida beckoned, where we could become the pied sand-pipers of all the kids in that sunny state. But alas my wings could not match Nevaeh. Now my arms are tired, and I will simply rest them over some keys that are not islands, just black squares for my fingers to fly over. Cute poem, Kids'll love it. ~~Artis

Beautiful write, Sis. Wonderful flow. This had great rhyme and it seemed to have a great beat to it, as well. This poem reminded me of the nursery rhymes I would read as a kid. You have talent, Sis. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest.

    An Amera special

Trijan refrains are perfectly suited to children's rhyming and I suspect you are the best children's rhymer on the planet.

    Lovely stuff
