Cold, cold, cold!
Ice, ice, ice!
Winter is here!
Winter is here!
Time to fly!
Yes, time to fly away!
To find a warm nest,
Far from ice!
Oh, Ice, ice, ice!
Too cold, too cold!
Need a warm nest!
Yes, warmth for my song!
Silly creatures stay behind,
The smart ones move on.
To warmth! To sun!
Sun, sun, sun!
And no more cold!
Author notes
Okay, not brilliant, but a silly little bird just wants to get warm. BTW, this is sooo not a slam against the intelligence of birds, my bird in my poem is just a bit of a ditzy blonde. =D (And I'm blonde, so saying that is not a prejudice, either.)

Oh! I think it's a very sweet poem and is probably very much what a bird thinks. It is a simple poem, but very sweet, silly, and cute. Great Job!! You captured the image well. Keep Writing!!! I look forward to reading more from you!!
