Jive Samba

you jive your lines along your hips
to a night time breeze
like a slow
flute arpeggio
strives the way butterflies
do

but I want you
how the moon captures

ballet in a garden

or do you just want to be lovers again

You mix your images and sounds together into something for the eyes, the ears, the heart and the soul. It's like listening to Thelonios Monk while viewing a Picasso painting (early Picasso).
    Wonderful writing.

  • This puts me in mind of midnight jazz. Very smooth jazz.

    Moqui, you have a gift

I seriously don't lend people too much along the lines of 'gift', but damn if you aren't something else. I appreciate your work and I look forward to becoming a Takodan.
