whats the difference when you take me out of the equation?

when you divided me up
and took away the remainder
i was left with a tawdry sum

when you added some memories
and factored in their content
the problem had multiplied

finally you took away
what was left of the variable
and the answer was 0

eh... the idea started out cool, but i think i kinda butchered it

you can call me crazy but tell me why you think so.....

    I don't think you butchered this at all! It's clever and has a strong message. Actually, it's even pretty inspiring. Really nice plays on words.
