half smile

Missing image

wind took away all covering,
she was not ashamed,
after all pretensions fell.

love promised evergreen
lay bare,
like an autumn tree.

next spring let tender leaves,
live without promises.
before bidding  good bye
when time arrives.

hoping against real,

sapped her psyche

with frills falling

she looks herself

as she is!

Another wonderful write from you, my friend. Your words have a very different effect with each poem you write:
    "hoping against real,

    sapped her psyche

    with frills falling

    she looks herself

    as she is!"
My favorite line. It just is so deep and meaningful and touches the inner inside of the reader.
Best of luck in the contest!

    Much love
    ~Noor
