When does love end, you ask.
A question with no real answer.
For once that seed germinates
within the human heart, it grows.
Even abusive and unhappy love
tangles itself into the flesh of
who we are and what we want.
When does love end?
When the last dying breath is
exhaled and death comes calling.

i truly enjoyed this. i really loved the lines 'iamlost' pointed out below, as well.
I'm not sure I would have included a theme of death within a piece about love. Perhaps you were going for something more ambiguous, but either way, you have a great piece here!

Wow. An amazing analysis of love and our emotions, and so very true.
Well penned,

This is a sweet poem and yiou ask a good question on an ambigous subject. Love means different things to different people. Good luck and best wishes to you in the contest.
