Dancing Dancing, whispered souls
The emerald ladies of the wood
Crystal voices fill the trees
That for a thousand years have stood
Softly Softly, jaded vows
The promise made to heaven's ear
Held aloft by naked boughs
Brought about by mankind's fear
Sweetly Sweetly, nymph's have sung
And danced with ivy in their hair
And now beheld by concrete hills
They moan and sway in cold despair
Gently Gently, earth consoles
With water's song and soil's sigh
When twilight falls on leafy arms
And moon winks down from midnight sky
Then through the forest we shall roam
Hand in hand as lover's should
Whilst whispered souls do dance with trees
That for a thousand years have stood

How beautiful. I like to think there is still some magic in the world. I like the calm, somewhat melancholy, but ultimately hopeful tone of this poem. Thanks for entering.
