Short Poetic Micro Chasms(micro-poetry)

Missing image
Poetry,
From the tip of a quill.
At the poet's command.

----------------------------------

Seasoned souls.
Chisel records in time,
Of prolific define
On tablets.

-------------------------

Passionate fervor,
Torturous eclipse.
Lust for understanding,
The poet's true itch.
---------------
Words,
 that express man's savagery,
Versed in lines of deft gravity.

I like that you kept a theme with your four entries...that of writing. The first is a good introductionm the second I see as a portait of time...writing viewed through history, and of course linking it to humanity. In the third, we see the passion, and in the last, it seems both a summing up and still another view of writing, and of man.

I also like the format, 3,4,4,3 lines. It gave the whole thing a polished look.

And on a note, having nothing to do with the contest, I like the little blinking "Welcome" avatar, that is cute...and friendly.

Thanks for entering the contest and for the understanding for the problems that occurred.

Well thank you for having noticed my avatar. And very kind comments. I find myself having been the family image taker without many pictures of myself to use. So.. the "welcome"is a net find and flashes but is low key. Some kind soul granted/gifted a month's gold and I love my mail servers goth text.AP has nothing like it that I've found. Anyhow, thanks for hosting and commenting so positively.I've enjoyed writing for your contest idea.
