from repeated blows to the head

oh come on now throw it out, you know you want too. Don't throw down your derogatory Bull shit at me and expect me not to respond in simple enough terms even the russians can get it. Yeah my family has a history of fighting communism, Korea my father, Vietnam my husband . They are HEROES.

A notable write with power and passion controlled in so few pithy lines.
Back then the enemy was communism - or, more correctly, states who were communist - nowadays the enemy has shifted but the gross and useless loss of life will continue. As someone suggested, the senators/MPs/etc do not go to war - they never did - but send canon fodder and wring their hands and shed crocodile tears. Personally I despise them and their sentiments.

Are you serious? my father had surgery three times for brain tumors caused by blows to his head he suffered and was in return abusive and angry. I did not have a childhood with a father i raised my siblings. I donated my first child to birth defects, and my husbands mental and physical health to agent orange and PTSD . Are you naive enough to think that Combat veterans go through this life alone? that it affects no one else? Many families turn away, the best do not. I sound angry because I am. I was born angry it keeps me working for people who have no one who gives a damn.
