Feathered wings of fallen hope
She clutches to her breast
The promise of a love returned
Velvet petals pressed
The moon is sighing wearily
And dances 'cross the sky
To see a maiden's tearful plea
To hear a spirit's cry
The magicks of the ancients old
May heal the broken dream
Yet only she shall hold the key
To mend the bloody stream
To sanctify the shattered soul
Powers lie beneath her chest
And feathered wings of fallen hope
She clutches to her breast
