I knew you well,
we were great friends,
oh I would give anything,
to see you again,
but now you are gone,
oh so far out of reach,
the pain that I felt,
it must not repeat,
you still live so close,
but we never talk,
I've still got your cape,
over my bedroom door,
the fun that we had,
when we were so young,
it went by so quickly,
now our friendship is gone,
to see you again,
would light up my day,
but still I would know,
you have to go away,
we were like brothers,
a well practiced show,

can't let go.
this was written about a great friend I once had, who then moved away. we kept in touch for a bit, but then he forgot me. he was like a brother to me, and I just can't let go of the fond memories of the fun we had as children. I have other good friends, but

this is a real good poem i know how you feel me and my friend kat stoped talking and she live only 8 or9 houses up from me and we never talk and im always think about when we was younger and she praticly lived at my house and now i only see her in a car when she leaves -

Childhood memories are full of special friends and special people, that you lose contact with along the years... Sometimes I think about them, what has become of them... I really miss them all.
