Isn't anybody wondering
Why can't people see
The ways of the world
The war
Strange weather patterns
Spreading of deadly disease
What happened in New Orleans
People in sorrow, direr need
Brothers stealing, taking lifes
Woe to the power of greed
Weapons in our schools
Our children suffocating themselves for a cheap high
Stuffy rich people stuch in their comfort zone
Too busy for the need to ask why
Corrupted court systems
Is justice bought with cash
Oh the glory of our world
Caught up in a lash
One country against another
Surley wasn't meant to be
Dying souls crying out
Save our people
Save me
Thousands weep
Anger seeps in our heart
We ask what happened
Watching families fall apart
Is our leaders eyes clearly shut
It's a horrible shame
Front page news
Who's to blame
Is it too late to save our childrens future
Are the dark days near
My eyes are open
How I endear
Will this country awake
Make change to unforseen sin
For who does one turn to
Where does one begin
Isn't anybody wondering
Why can't people
See
