If You were Clothes.

Missing image

I bathed in years,
    waiting
to this day,
  for your touch,

how it traces my soul.

we knew
  without knowing,
      without words.

Just air filtering
       recycled,
  like me;

you said goodbye,
   and then hello

like the tear drops
of my essence,

I just cant strip you

            away;

the way you stripped me.

    I tend to like these confessional pieces. You have gone to a painful place and brought out something beautiful.

    Awww, I love your avatar! You're very lovely Steph.
    I love your take on this prompt too. I love the spitefulness, bitterness of your words, even thoughthey're sad, you seem to come out on top, letting this person know EXACTLY how much they hurt you.
    I wish you the best in this contest sweetheart,
    Love,
    jin
