Mish, Mash, Mix-em-up

Behind the envious veil of the ashen clouds.
Your flower,
think: green eggs and ham, in free verse.

Ashes of the once tempest
passion and unrequited,
a subtle crimson torrent.

A poem about caterpillars
with this last kiss...
technicolor ether
and into forever we fade.

Author notes

Somehow, I never anticipated naming a poem "A poem about caterpillars" would come back to haunt me...
