Making Sense of Lost Time

Often mistaken for being a leader;
Follower of thought alone is tiresome,
Yet still there is that need to dream
And to live that dream outside the walls perceived.

Though not unlike days gone by,
There is a hope that lingers.
Renewal of the spirit has created unknown territory,
Land of the future, behold.

Forget how to be;
Live in the moment,
Rather then living in the nothingness,
and forgetting the moment.

Fragile time that ticks, ticks, ticks
Be still 'o' heart of hearts,
find solace in victories, battles forged and won...
Make way for tomorrow.

  • Oh. This is a nice little poem that you have going on in here. With the way that you worded things it has a very old world feel to it. I thought it sounded very peaceful and uplifting. Like you're telling people to always face forward and do their best. Lestways, that' s how I took it to me. I thought you did a good job of expressing yourself here.
